Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana launched

A pension scheme announced by Government of India, for senior citizens, was launched by Union Finance Minister, Minister for Defence and Minister for Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley in New Delhi. Life Insurance Corporation of India has been given sole privilege to operate this scheme.
