22yearold girl killed after celebratory fire in Hoshiarpur

HOSHIARPUR: A 22-year-old girl was killed in celebratory firing by an inebriated man during a pre-wedding function in Hoshiarpur late on Saturday night. The deceased identified as Sakshi Arora, a resident of Hoshiarpur, was pursuing MBA from a Jalandhar-based college. Police arrested accused Ashok Khosla, the bride’s father, and recovered his licensed revolver from which the shot was fired.
