Auto sales grow at a brisk pace in February

Total vehicle sales rose 22.7% in February on a demand revival in rural and semi-urban markets and a low base in the corresponding period a year ago, according to data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (Siam). Total passenger vehicle sales grew by 7.7% to 275,329 units on the back of a 21.8% rise in utility vehicle sales.
