SARE Homes HT GIFA is upping the ante this year by collaborating with La Liga

These days, youngsters prefer social networking, binge-watching television series and playing video games over sweating it out in the field. The adrenaline rush, strength competitiveness and the winning spirit that comes along with sports such as cricket, basketball, tennis and football, have clearly taken a back seat. And, that is where SARE Homes Hindustan Times Great Indian Football Action comes in. The tournament offers a perfect platform for young football enthusiasts to showcase their footballing prowess — some of the best teams from Delhi-NCR will compete for the Cup of Dreams.

This year, SARE Homes HT GIFA has collaborated with the Primera División aka La Liga (Spanish football league), so expect the intensity of the action to go up by a notch or two. As the global football partner for SARE Homes HT GIFA this year, La Liga will be giving young football talent from across the city an opportunity to showcase their skills, learn from the best and nurture the love for the beautiful game. Kritika Bhatt, a student says, “I got to hear about HT GIFA from a friend last year but unfortunately, couldn’t register. I went to watch some of the matches. I have been waiting for an opportunity to participate since then, and I’m definitely going to register this year.” Last year’s participant, Naresh Rawat, who is looking forward to the tournament again, says, “HT GIFA was an amazing experience. It provided me with an opportunity to be a part of a platform, where I got to play with some of the best players in the city.” The registrations for SARE Homes HT GIFA have been open for a while now, and teams have already started securing their spots.
