Struggle is a glorified word, and I get offended by it: Zeeshan Ayyub

Actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is fast emerging as a reliable actor, after having been a critical part of films such as Raees (2017) and Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015). It might have taken him a lot of hard work to reach this purple patch in his career, but Zeeshan feels it would be wrong on his part if he terms his journey as a struggle.

“Struggle is a glorified word, and I get offended by it. Logo ne is word ko khoob becha hai. People who say so much about the ‘struggle’ they had to do, I have one question for them: Kisi ke baap ne kaha tha aapko Mumbai jaao aur star bano? (Who told you to go to Mumbai and become a star?). You chose this, ab isske bare mein ro kyun rahe ho?” If living on the roads was a struggle for you, does living in a bungalow now mean that the struggle is over?
