BMC’s notice to RK Studio owners

The fire department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a notice to the owners of the iconic RK Studio for alleged violation of safety norms, which, it claims, led to a blaze on the premises. The department has also cancelled the no objection certificate issued to the studio in 2014. On September 16, a fire broke out on the sets of a dance reality show at the RK Studio, founded by actor Raj Kapoor.
