Trident, Gurgaon has won the National Tourism Award for the Best Hotel in the 5-Star Category

Recently, at a glittering ceremony, Trident, Gurgaon won the National Tourism Award for the Best Hotel in the five-star category. The ceremony was attended by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind and Minister of State (IC) for Tourism, K.J. Alphons. Instituted by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The National Tourism Awards are the most coveted awards in the travel and tourism industry in India.

On the occasion, Trident, Gurgaon, General Manager Amitabh Rai, said, “It is a matter of great privilege and honour to receive this prestigiou­s accolade. The award reflects the hotel’s commitment to quality and the unwavering dedication of our people towards ensuring guest delight.”

The hotel, which opened in January 2004, redefines the city hotel experience with natural elements and the luxury of space, water and light into its design. Spread across seven sprawling acres, the hotel features 129 wellappoin­ted rooms, six Executive suites and a Presidenti­al suite that lend a resort-like experience even in the heart of bustling Gurgaon. The rooms are amongst the largest for city hotels around the world. The hotel has also been the recipient of ‘India’s Leading Business Hotel’ in 2017, 2016 and 2015 respective­ly along with being recognised as ‘Asia’s Leading Business Hotel’ in 2013 for five consecutiv­e years by World Travel Awards.
