Whenh a shooth lleftf Amyra Dastur injured
Recently, actor Amyra Dastur got hurt while shooting a scene for her upcoming film with actor Rajkummar Rao. She tripped over some bricks, and bruised her knees severely, and the spot started to bleed.
However, the 25-year-old continued the scene with temporary medical help, and later rushed to get a tetanus shot. “I wanted to use the pain and discomfort in my scene, cause I knew it would definitely better my performance.”
She adds, “I knew I had to get a tetanus shot and get my wound cleaned since there were still little pieces of the brick stuck inside. But, I must say that the whole team was really sweet. Rajkummar even asked if the area could be covered with mattresses, [so that I’m not hurt] in case I would fall again. [Director] Prakash [Kovelamudi] changed the schedule and finished all my scenes as soon as possible, so I could leave early and go straight to the doctor,” says Amyra.
Amyra reveals that the whole team was concerned about her. “I had messages on my phone from the entire crew and cast, asking if I was ok. I guess they kind of think of me as the baby on sets since I’m the youngest and the most hyper person [on this set],” she says.
