DU, meet your new students’ union

- Aditay Dogra ■ aditya.dogra@htlive.com

The results of one of the most intense Delhi University Students’ Union elections came out late night this Thursday. And, it was Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) that swept the top three positions in the DUSU office with Ankiv Basoya winning the presidential post, Shakti Singh bagging the post of vicepresident and Jyoti Choudhary securing the post of joint secretary. National Students’ Union of India’s (NSUI) Akash Choudhary was voted as the secretary in DUSU.

While this election did have its fair share of controversy and drama (which DUSU elections generally can’t really happen without), the final verdict says that these four students will now be responsible for you, the students of Delhi University.

We decided to talk to the newly-appointed DUSU and here’s what they had to say.
