A RAINBOW-HUED FINALE
Cheerful rainbow colours took over the ramp on the grand finale of the Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week, held in association with NEXA, organised by the Fashion Design Council of India, in partnership with Hindustan Times. 40 Indian designers came together to celebrate the decriminalisation of homosexuality and raise a toast to inclusivity in fashion. The finale was high on energy as models and designers showcased creations dipped in rainbow hues, as they twirled, danced and cheered each other on the ramp. We also saw trans-models such as Anjali Lama and Taksh Sharma walk for designer Gaurav Gupta and Huemn respectively along with actor Huma Qureshi who showed solidarity with the LGBTQ, saying she is glad to be a part of this historic show. Other designers who presented their creations included Manish Malhotra, Amit Aggarwal, Anavila Misra, Reynu Taandon, Rina Dhaka, Varun Bahl and Raghavendra Rathore, among others.
