Brother Ahan’s hard work inspires Athiya Shetty
Actor Athiya Shetty considers her brother Ahan Shetty her “guiding force”.
“Ahan is younger than me but I treat him as an elder brother. I take advice from him. He’s very calm and I admire that about him... He’s the most hardworking person I know,” Athiya says about Ahan, who is set to make his acting debut with the Hindi remake of Telugu hit RX 100.
Athiya, the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty, debuted in 2015 with Hero and was seen in Mubarakan in 2017. Talking about her journey so far, she says, “First, the film picks you, then you pick the film.”
“I always thought that this is what I want to do; this is how I’m going to be. I had a rigid plan but as you grow, you learn from your mistakes,” she said, adding that the highs and lows have shaped her into the person she is today.
Her next film will have her working with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
