Vodafone sells its 4% Airtel stake for $200 mn

UK telecom major Vodafone has sold its 4.2 % stake in Bharti Airtel to Bharti Enterprises (Holding) Pvt Ltd for $200 million. The decision follows the new unified licence regime that prohibits holdings by any group in more than one licensee firm in the same service area.
