With help from Anita, an acquaintance, Neetu informs Maiti NGO’s Indira Pandey 4.30 pm: Indira reaches Ambience Island along with Neetu and two others. At the Caitriona apartment, three men stop them and allegedly misbehave. The four persons, including a male NGO member, are threatened and forced to leave the place 5:20 pm: Indira meets a security supervisor and seeks his help to rescue the women. He agrees to give Indira a missed call when the Nepalese women return. 7 pm: Indira calls Kalpana Tamang in Nepal as a domestic help and asks her for a job in Saudi Arabia. She sets her up with Anwar. Indira is then to meet Anwar at Ashram Chowk in Delhi. But the NGO members delay the meeting

The guard calls Indira to tell her the women have returned. She requests him to arrange a phone call with the women. 11 pm: victims call Indira from the bathroom using the guard’s phone. They tell her they need a handset.

Victims leave for Nainital in Uttarakhand with the accused and his friends

The victims return to Gurgaon and the guard informs Indira. She gives him a Samsung handset and charger to be given to the victims. Over the next few days, the victims keep Indira updated about their activities
SEPTEMBER 6
The NGO approaches the Nepal Embassy. They promise help and urge them to complain to the Gurgaon police.
SEPTEMBER 7
The diplomat’s family abuses the police team and thrashes the woman cop. After an hour’s struggle, the two Nepalese women are rescued. Victims undergo medical exam, a case registered against the diplomat and his family members.
