University of Delhi offers BSc (H) statistics at undergraduate level under CBCS system. This course is being offered by eight colleges under University of Delhi. Students from any disciplines can apply for this course provided they have studied mathematics/ statistics in Class 12. The course teaches one about data; starting from collection of data, organization, to analyzing and interpreting the data and then drawing inference , making decisions and presentation.
This course includes papers on statistics, mathematics, computers, also operational research and statistical quality control as optional papers.
