Handbook for north civic body nursery, pre-primary teachers

NEW DELHI: The north Delhi municipal corporatio­n on Friday released a handbook for teachers of nursery and pre-primary sections to follow.

The civic agency officials said the handbook has been developed in such a way that every student, across all its 440 schools, will be taught the same lessons.

The kids will also take part in the same extracurri­cular activities.

An officer said that there are at least 25,000 students in the nursery and pre-primary sections.

“It will be adopted in all 440 municipal and aided schools,” Vyas added.

Former education director, Krishan Kumar said that there is plan to take the handbook to a digital platform through a mobile applicatio­n.

“It will make it easier for the parents to read their child’s syllabus and know the activities that they are doing in schools,” said Kumar.
