Manali cops round up two minors

SHIMLA: Police rounded up two minors, including a Class 10 student, and arrested a labourer on Wednesday for their involvement in the gangrape of a 25-year-old Israeli woman in Manali. Manali deputy superintendent of police Puneet Raghu said the labourer, Khemu, was arrested near Kullu. “One of the minors is Class 10 student at a Kullu school. With today’s arrest, all six involved in the gangrape are behind bars,” he said. The two boys rounded up will be produced in the juvenile court in Kullu on Thursday. Another minor rounded up on Tuesday was sent to the juvenile home in Una. Two days ago, police arrested Akshay Rana and Pankaj Sharma.All six arrested will be paraded before the rape victim for identification. The Israeli woman complained six youth took her to secluded place away from Manali before she was raped by two on Sunday. HTC
