AMEND DESIGNATIONS

-

The literary meaning of the word ‘Rashtrapati’ is ‘husband of the nation’, whereas President means ‘adhyaksh’. Therefore, it will be more appropriate to call President ‘Rashtradhyaksh’ and not ‘Rashtrapti’. On the other hand, governor means ‘the ruler’ and should be designated as the ‘chief adviser to the state government’, as per his role. SURINDER PAUL WADWA, MOHALI
