Asaram’s disciple booked in 2014 rape case

MATHURA: A case has been registered against two persons, one of them a disciple of Asaram, on court order for allegedly raping a sadhvi at an ashram in Vrindavan two years ago. The victim alleged that Krishna Das, the disciple of Asaram who is himself facing rape charges, and another person, molested and gang-raped her near Gore Dau Ji Ashram, Vrindavan, on January 16, 2014. She alleged that when she approached the police, they did not register an FIR. “The FIR has been registered on the court order under Section 376(D)/500 of the IPC,” police said.
