SPLURGING ON WEDDINGS

The proposed private member’s bill on prevention of wasteful expenditure at weddings is much awaited. If enacted, it will bring much respite to lower-income households, which struggle to get their daughters married. From the very birth of a girl child, they start saving for her wedding.
