Modi slams SP govt over court cases
ALLAHABAD:A crowd of over a lakh cheered PM Narendra Modi as he slammed the Samajwadi Party government saying “Kaam bolta hai to Allahabad high court kyon bolta hai’ (if your deeds speak then why does Allahabad high court has to intervene).
Addressing a public meeting here at Sant Nirankari Satsang Sthal, Modi said SP government was the only in the country that had to face the wrath of high court almost every week.
Attacking the Congress-SP alliance, Modi said Congress had its slogan for assembly polls ‘27 Saal UP Behaal’ but did not give a second thought before entering into alliance with a party it held responsible for worsening condition of UP till just a few days ago.
“UP stands last on development index in the country, but first in crime, atrocities on poor, nepotism, etc. Give us five years and we will put UP ahead on development index. By 2019, we will celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by ensuring toilets in every home besides ensuring a waiver of farmer loans in first cabinet meeting after forming government,” said the Prime Minister.
