Sonia attends session after health checkup

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday attended the proceedings in the Lok Sabha on her return from abroad following a health check up. Gandhi had left for abroad on March 8, two days ahead of the counting of votes in the five states. She returned on Friday. When her party member KC Venugopal was speaking against the “manner” in which the GST bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, she asked why it was not listed in the business of the House.
