Woman threatens not to cook food till toilet built in house

AGRA: A woman from Devganj village of Mainpuri district threatened not to cook food till a toilet was constructed in the house. The threat worked and her husband agreed to her demand.

Reports said an awareness campaign about Swachh Bharat Mission was held in the village. During discussions, block coordinator of district swachhta samiti asked the villagers to come up with suggestions and stressed on having toilets in houses for better health.

Seema complained that she wanted a toilet but her husband didn’t agree. She threatened that she wouldn’t cook. Caught off guard, he had to relent.
