Maur residents protest, halt train for an hour
BATHINDA: Residents of a locality near railway station at Maur Mandi on Thursday stopped the intercity express for over an hour. They were protesting against the decision to build a wall parallel to the railway line. They claimed that the wall will block their way towards the city. The authorities said as the route has been electrified, it is mandatory to do build the wall. The blockade was lifted after the station master accepted a memorandum and assured them that it will be sent to the railway minister. HTC
