TRICKY ISSUES

The board changed 17 textbooks for Classes 6,8, 9, 11 and 12 from the 2017-18 academic session. The changes delayed printing and delivery of textbooks. Board officials blamed paper shortage for delay and the students were asked to use old books. The board did not adopt the moderation (grace marks) policy for board exams for Classes 10 and 12. As a result, the pass percentages dipped.
