Woman raped by oldage home administrator

MEERUT: The administrator of an old age home in Ganga Nagar area in Meerut was arrested for raping a woman on Saturday. The matter came to light when the rape survivor contacted the district probationary officer (DPO), social welfare department, Sudhakar Sharan Pandey who reached the home with station house officer (SHO), Ganga Nagar, Omveer Singh, and rescued her. In her statement to the police, the woman said she reached the old age home on June 15. She alleged that the administrator Deepak Joshi intoxicated her on Saturday and raped her. She said Joshi also made an obscene MMS of her and then locked her in a toilet.
