PUNJAB INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR 2 PPSC MEMBERS

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government has invited applications to fill two vacancies of member (official) in the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). A spokesperson said that the applicant while forwarding his/her own name or recommending another person's name with necessary details, must clearly elucidate the pendency of any civil, criminal, administrative or any other proceedings that may have bearing on his/her integrity and character. The applicant should have held office for at least 10 years either under the Central government or under the state government. The last date for submitting the applications to the office of secretary to the Punjab government, department of personnel (PP-3 Branch), room number 6, 6th floor, Punjab civil secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh, is August 18, 2017, by 5pm.
