Nestle India Q2 profit rises 10% on product launches
MUMBAI: Nestle India Ltd said on Wednesday profit rose about 10% in its fiscal second quarter, helped by new product launches and a revamp of its popular Maggi noodles brand. Profit rose to ₹263 crore in the quarter ended June 30, from ₹240 crore a year earlier. Domestic sales rose 8.8% to ₹2,321 crore in the quarter, the company said in a statement.
