Missing woman’s body found from canal in Bathinda

BATHINDA: The body of a woman, who went missing three days ago, was recovered from a canal at Goniana village on Tuesday. The deceased, Jasvir Kaur, 55, of Jaito in Faridkot district was missing since September 10. ASI GRP, Jasmeet Singh, said no injury mark has been found on the body. He said that woman had gone to a religions place at Gobindpura village when she went missing.

The family is not suspecting any foul play behind her death. The police handed over the body to the family after conducting inquest proceedings. HTC
