ROHTAK : Former Haryana home minister and Congress leader Subhash Batra on Thursday demanded a white paper on all the things that were recovered from Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda during a three-day sanitisation drive.

Addressing mediapersons here, Batra alleged that the government gave the Dera “time to hide objectionable things” by starting the sanitisation process several days after the arrest of Dera chief in two cases of rape.

“The sanitisation process seems to be a complete eyewash. Dera’s own mouthpiece had admitted that there would be dead bodies buried on the premises. allow media to watch,” Batra said.

He asked where were the 34 licensed weapons that were not submitted by the Dera to police. “If they have not been recovered, there is a possibility that these may be used for terrorist activities,” Batra warned.

The Congress leader alleged the government still had a soft corner for Ram Rahim and might be giving him VIP treatment. “It is serious to note that thousands of prisoners are suffering because of Ram Rahim and the government is doing nothing,” he said.
