Chandigarh University to organize International Conference on “Trends in Architecture & Construction”
Research Scholars, Architect Professionals from 6 countries to participate during ICTAC-2017
University Institute of Architecture (UIA) at Chandigarh University will be organizing an International Conference “Trends in Architecture and Construction” ICTAC-2017 on 18th September where top Architect professionals, entrepreneurs and renowned academicians from leading Architecture Institutions and Universities would be taking part. While giving details on the ICTAC-2017, Col. Toor, Principal, UIA said, “Architect professionals, Research Scholars, Industry Professionals from 6 countries which includes India, Spain, USA, Italy and Palestine would be participating to disseminate knowledge to the budding Architect professionals on the use of modern technology in the field of architecture, changing scenario of the construction industry and job prospects in the industry”.
The key speakers during ICTAC-2017 would include, Prof. (Dr.) Rommel Mehta, Landscape Architect and Expert Member, Heritage Conservation Committee, Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, Prof. (Dr.) Mohamed Gamal Abdelmonem, Chairperson, Global Heritage Research School of Architecture & Design, Nottingham Trent University, UK, Prof. Pau Sola-Morales, Dean School of Architecture, Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Spain, Professor Tetaert Anthony, Research Assitant, Howest University, UK, Prof. Raffaele Paloscia, Department of Architecture, University of Florence, Italy and Dr. David Fanfani, Associate Professor, Department of Architecture, University of Florence, Italy. Highlight of the International Conference would be the technical session and address by Dr. Gofferdo Serrini, Architect Consultant for UNESCO, who will throw light on the steps being undertaken by the International Agency in recent years to preserve the World Heritage Sites using the modern day technology.
