Indian Air Force conducted IPEV Road Drive at CT Group of Institutions
CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar in association with Indian Air Force conducted a road drive where students were thorough information about the IAF Air Craft’s Stimulator in the IPEV Vehicle. The drive was organized in the guidance of District Administration in collaboration with District Bureau of Employment Generation & Training and CT Group for two days at CT Institutions, Shahpur Campus.
More than 2500 students who attended the road drive, were informed about career opportunities in Indian Air Force by the IAF officers team including Flight Lieutenant Rahul Chauhan, Flight Lieutenant Vikas C., Flight Officer Uday Kiran and others were headed by Wing Commander Sangeeta Kathit informed the students about varied career opportunities and possibilities in the Indian Air Force.
Wing Commander Sangeeta Kathit apprised students about the employment opportunities in the Air Force, requisite qualifications and capabilities for the jobs and recruitment process. She informed the students on “How they prepare themselves, if they want to pursue a career in Indian Air Force as Airmen.”
Students including Technical and Non-Technical graduates were encouraged to join the different branches of the IAF including technical, flying and ground duty. They were also informed about AFCAT Test which is followed during selection of an officer into various arms and services of the Indian Air Force including an insight into the various illustrious training institutions available in the country for training of an officer. The event concluded with informal but informative interactions of students with the IAF officers on various entry schemes & opportunities in the armed forces.
