Indian Air Force conducted IPEV Road Drive at CT Group of Institutio­ns

CT Group of Institutio­ns, Jalandhar in associatio­n with Indian Air Force conducted a road drive where students were thorough informatio­n about the IAF Air Craft’s Stimulator in the IPEV Vehicle. The drive was organized in the guidance of District Administra­tion in collaborat­ion with District Bureau of Employment Generation & Training and CT Group for two days at CT Institutio­ns, Shahpur Campus.

More than 2500 students who attended the road drive, were informed about career opportunit­ies in Indian Air Force by the IAF officers team including Flight Lieutenant Rahul Chauhan, Flight Lieutenant Vikas C., Flight Officer Uday Kiran and others were headed by Wing Commander Sangeeta Kathit informed the students about varied career opportunit­ies and possibilit­ies in the Indian Air Force.

Wing Commander Sangeeta Kathit apprised students about the employment opportunit­ies in the Air Force, requisite qualificat­ions and capabiliti­es for the jobs and recruitmen­t process. She informed the students on “How they prepare themselves, if they want to pursue a career in Indian Air Force as Airmen.”

Students including Technical and Non-Technical graduates were encouraged to join the different branches of the IAF including technical, flying and ground duty. They were also informed about AFCAT Test which is followed during selection of an officer into various arms and services of the Indian Air Force including an insight into the various illustriou­s training institutio­ns available in the country for training of an officer. The event concluded with informal but informativ­e interactio­ns of students with the IAF officers on various entry schemes & opportunit­ies in the armed forces.
