Musical Ramlila to be organised in Gurgaon
GURGAON: Get ready to witness Ramlila in a new avatar from Wednesday as Radio Nasha is holding a two-day musical at Ambience Island. The event will feature the timeless tale and also have activities on the sidelines that will keep visitors engrossed.
The 90-minute Ramlila will commence at 3pm on September 29 and 30 at Ambience Island, Gurgaon. The event will be divided in three zones — Ayodhya, Vanvas and Lanka.
As soon as the guests enter the event area, they set foot in Ayodhya — the city of royalty where celebrations are on in full swing. Part from the Ferris wheel and flea markets, this zone will also have a food court for guests to savour the mood of Dussehra.
The Vanvas area has been transformed into the experience zone where activities for children and adults have been set up. The zone will have innovative photo booths, character lookalikes, lantern garden and white henna stalls.
To enter the third zone, there is a Ram Setu bridge.
The zone is guarded by thematically dressed bouncers guarding the box office.
There is no entry fee for the 90-minute performance that will happen in this zone. However, at the box office, there will be boxes for different corporate social responsibility causes.
To enter Lanka, one must donate an amount (as low as ₹1) towards a cause they want to associate with.
This amount will be given to respective charities.
The event will bring alive the story of Sri Ram in all its grandeur and give our audience an experience to cherish.
Following the performance a Ravan Dahan will be conducted at 8.30pm on Saturday at the same venue.
Speaking about Radio Nasha’s latest innovation, Harshad Jain, CEO, Radio and Entertainment, HT Media Ltd, said, “Radio Nasha is proud to present Ramlila that will bring alive the story of Sri Ram in all its grandeur and give our audiences an experience of a lifetime.
