3 booked for raping woman in Faridkot

FARIDKOT : Three persons have been booked on charges of raping a 50-year-old woman in Faridkot. The accused, identified as Deepak, Ravi and Gopal, are all residents of Faridkot.

The victim alleged that Deepak had trapped her 19-yearold daughter and shot her porn video. Later, he started blackmailing her and demanded Rs 15,000 to delete the clip.

Deepak then asked the victim to come to his house if she wanted to get her daughter’s video deleted. When the woman went to his house, the accused gave her a spiked drink following which she fell unconscious. The accused then raped her and made a video.

Police have registered a case under sections 376 (punishment for rape), 384 (punishment for extortion), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 509 (to insult the modesty of a woman) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC at the Faridkot police station.
