YOUTH STABBED TO DEATH NEAR MINISTER’S HOUSE IN SONEPAT
ROHTAK: A youth was stabbed to death few metres from minister Kavita Jain’s house in sector 15 area of Sonepat on late Saturday night, once again raising questions on the security of residents in Haryana as crimes go unabated in posh colonies. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Dahiya, 25. The police said he had come to the market with his friends when an altercation with some men led to the killing. The accused stabbed Ravi with knives and big needles.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Dahiya, 25.
The incident has raised a question mark on the safety of residents as crimes go unabated in posh colonies of the state.
Police said Ravi had come to the market with his friends when they had altercation with some men, leading to his killing. The accused stabbed Ravi with knives and some large needlelike weapon.
Civil Lines police station in-charge Anirudh Singh said Ravi and his friends had clashed with the accused at a village fair some days ago. The police have registered a case of murder against two men, who are absconding. They have been identified as Ajay and Vishal.
The incident comes days after a coaching institute owner was shot dead near another state minister Manish Grover’s residence in Rohtak’s DLF Colony. The incidents of murders in the state are on the rise. On Friday night, some assailants had pumped in 14 bullets into the body of an army jawan who had come home on leave in Jhajjar. He was posted in jammu and Kashmir. The accused in all these cases are still at large.
