CHANDIGARH: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday launched six more e-services, thus bringing 100 citizen-centric services of 12 departments onto a single platform.

On the occasion of Good Governance Day, Khattar dedicated a portal named ‘SARAL’ — Simple, All Inclusive, Real Time, Action Oriented, Long lasting — to the people of the state. This is a service-delivery platform where citizens can track and avail more than 100 services easily.

The state government has set the target of providing all 380 services of 30 departments to the people at their doorsteps under this ‘single platform’ digital medium by April 14 next year.

Under its ‘digital Haryana’ initiative, the state government has also given 2,500 tablets computers to patwaris across the state to provide them digitallyverified certificates.

The CM said, “The gap between people and state government can only be reduced through digital initiatives.”

Khattar also launched a mobile video-conference platform and principal secretary (electronics and IT) Devendra Singh presented him a tablet.

Through this, the CM or any other official could get connected with 30 other officers through video-conference, anywhere and anytime.

“On the occasion of the birthday of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee today, we are celebrating December 25 as Good Governance Day,” the CM said.

Khattar also launched deputy commissioners (DCs) e-Dashboard (Darpan) which will offer analytical view of the ongoing schemes throughout the country, besides a unique survey of the national-level schemes.

SWACHHATA MAP APP

The chief minister said that ‘Swachhata Map App’ will be linked with Swachhata App with additional services. The CM also directed the officers to initiate the process of linking villages with this app.

DIGITAL REGISTER

In a first, a digital register was launched for hotel industry.

Under this, data of visitors will be shared with the police department and manual verification will no longer be required.
