Haryana board Class 10, 12 exams from March 7

ROHTAK: The Board of School Education Haryana has announced the datesheet for Class 10 and 12 board exams that are scheduled between March 7 and April 3. Board chairman Jagbir Singh said for the first time, exams for both the classes will take place in one shift between 12.30 pm to 330 pm.

ROHTAK : The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has announced the date-sheet for Class 10 and 12 board exams that are scheduled between March 7 and April 3.

Board chairman Jagbir Singh said for the first time, exams for both the classes will take place in one shift between 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Earlier, the board used to conduct exams in morning and evening shifts for the two classes.

As many as 8.19 lakh candidates will sit in the board exams, out of which 3.8 lakh will appear for Class 10 while 2.4 lakh will appear for Class 12 exams. Another 2 lakh will be open school candidates.

The exams for both Class 10 and 12 will start with English paper. The board said they have tried to ensure at least one preparatio­n leave in between subjects for students of all streams.

The board chairman advised candidates to study hard for the exams as strict arrangemen­ts would be made to prevent students from copying.
