Two months after girl found dead, father lodges complaint

-

YAMUNANAGAR: More than two months after a 16-year-old girl was found dead in mysterious circumstances at her house, police have booked three adults and six minors on a complaint from the father. The post-mortem report of the girl had identified the cause of death as poisoning. Police say that in their first complaint, soon after the death, the father and the grand mother had given a statement in writing. The statement mentioned that their ward had died after drinking tea that had turned poisonous due to a lizard falling in the milk. In his fresh complaint, the father has accused nine people of poisoning her daughter, after molesting her. Now, the father has also alleged that villagers went back on their promise that two of the accused will be excommunicated from the village for two years. HTC
