Nylon manja cut kills media professional in Pune

PUNE: A 45-year-old media professional succumbed to her injuries on Sunday, three days after a nylon manja (thread) used for flying kites cut her neck while she was on her way home from work. Suvarna Mujumdar, who worked in the media and marketing department of Marathi daily Sakal, was hurt while riding her two-wheeler on Wednesday. Police have booked unknown persons for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
