HUDA to launch new sectors in urban estates
CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) is going to offer more than 6,000 plots in different urban estates across the state in the coming few months. HUDA is going to float new sectors in locations such as Mahendergarh, Jagadhri, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Dabwali, Safidon, Hisar, Fatehabad, Ambala, Pinjore, Gohana, Rewari and Taoru.
“We are going to float several new plot schemes, around 6000 plots, including new sectors. Mahendergarh will be the first location where we will be offering new plot scheme. For the Mahendergarh scheme, we have applied for the project registration with the state real estate regulatory authority. We are expecting to receive the registration in the next few days. After the registration we will be in a position to offer the scheme to the public,” said, J Ganesan, chief administrator, HUDA.
The scheme is expected to be launched by the month-end. In Mahendergarh, plots will be offered in Sector 9A (P), sector 10 and Sector 11 (P).
The last HUDA scheme was floated in Rohtak, around one and a half years ago. “We have large land banks around the state. But, most of it is located in the medium and low potential areas,” said Ganesan. So, new HUDA schemes will be coming in these areas rather than in areas like Gurugram.
