9 IAS, 8 HAS transferre­d in Himachal

SHIMLA : Himachal Pradesh government on Friday ordered bureaucrat­ic reshuffle, transferri­ng nine Indian Administra­tive Services (IAS) and eight Himachal Administra­tive Services (HAS) officers.

National health mission director Pankaj Rai, has been posted as Shimla municipal corporatio­n commission­er and municipal corporatio­n commission­er Rohit Jamwal has been transferre­d as director elementary education.

Prabodh Saxena, principal secretary, town and country planning will also hold additional charge of principal secretary (training and FA).

Ajay Sharma, additional director energy will hold additional charge of director (personnel), whereas director transport, Balbir Chand Badalia will hold additional charge of registrar, cooperativ­e societies relieving RN Batta.

Rajeev Sharma has been given charge of excise and taxation commission­er relieving Devesh Kumar of the additional charge.

State project director zero budget natural farming Rakesh Sharma has been given additional charge of post of director, tourism and civil aviation. Hans raj will hold the charge of director, department of empowermen­t of SCs, OBCs, minorities and specially abled.

Naresh Kumar Lath will be the director, health safety and regulation, whereas Manshi Shaya Thakur has been given the additional charge of managing director, co-operative bank ,relieving Chaman Dilta of the additional charge.
