FARIDABAD: Gearing itself for the next year’s parliamentary and assembly polls in Haryana, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP)’s state executive on Sunday set a target of winning all the ten Lok Sabha seats and 65 plus assembly seats in the state.

State BJP president Subhash Barara presided over the meeting held here in the presence of national organisational general secretary Ram Lal, general secretary in-charge of Haryana Dr Anil Jain and chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

“In today’s meeting, we have set a target of winning all ten parliamentary seats and 65 plus assembly seats in the elections next year,” Dr Anil Jain told the media.

“We have decided to activate the entire party cadre so that they reach the booth level and highlight achievements of the Modi government and the Khttar government to achieve the target,” he said.

“The party workers will explain to the people how 35 crore bank accounts of poor people were opened in the country,” he said.

Observing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to the rescue of farmers with the Centre’s latest decision to hike the maximum support prices of their produce, Dr Jain said the executive committee felt that Modi should be given the title of ‘Kisan Ratna’.

He said 50 crore people will be benefited by the Ayushman Bharat scheme and hoped that beneficiaries will start receiving health cards from August 15.

In his presidential address, Barala said the BJP not only understood the problems of the people of Haryana soon after coming to power, but it tried its best to resolve them.
