1 booked for raping woman, molesting her teen daughter

THE WOMAN ALLEGED THAT THE ACCUSED SHOT A VIDEO OF THE INCIDENT AND RAPED HER SEVERAL TIMES AGAIN, THREATENING TO CIRCULATE THE VIDEO

HISAR : The Hisar police on Monday booked a man for allegedly raping and thrashing a woman and molesting her 18-year-old daughter.

The police registered a case under Section 328 (causing hurt by means of poison with intent to commit an offence), 376 (rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 354-A (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint) and 506 (criminal intimidation) against accused Sanjay Saini, a resident of DC Colony, Hisar.

Police spokesperson Harish Bhardwaj said, “The police received a complaint from the victim stating that she is separated from her husband and stays alone with her daughter and runs a beauty parlour in Hisar. She came in contact with accused Sanjay Saini, who a few months back, offered her some intoxicant laced tea and raped her.”

The woman also alleged that the accused shot a video of the incident and raped her several times later, threatening to circulate the video.

It has also been alleged that on Sunday, the accused reached her house and molested her daughter. When she protested, the accused reportedly thrashed both of them with a cricket bat and fled from the spot, the women told the police.
