Raghunath is CPI (M) candidate from Anandpur Sahib LS seat

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has announced that Raghunath Singh, the party’s state secretariat member, will be its party candidate for Anandpur Sahib constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. Raghunath is also the state general secretary of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU). Party’s politburo member and former MP Nilotpal Basu made the announcement on Sunday. “Raghunath Singh will be the joint candidate of the Left parties,” Basu said, adding that they would contest on the slogan of protecting democracy.
