2 MEN FOUND MURDERED IN TARN TARAN HOUSE
TARN TARAN: Bodies of two men were found with head injuries at a house in Mohalla Jaswant Singh here on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Lakhwinder Singh, 35, and Jograj Singh, 20, of the same locality.
The incident came to light at around 9 pm when Lakhwinder’s sister Maya, who is married and lives in the same area, came to visit his house. When she entered the house, she found her brother and Jograj’s bodies. When she raised alarm, the neighbours gathered at the spot and informed the police
Maya said Lakhwinder had been living alone. “My brother’s wife has been living at her maternal home for the past few years, while his two sons are living with me,” she said.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Kuldeep Singh Chahal and city police station SHO Amandeep Singh visited the spot and started investigations.
“The duo was found in a pool of blood with head injuries. We have sent the bodies to Tarn Taran civil hospital for postmortem. Further investigations are on,” the SHO said.
Police have registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against unknown persons.
