Khattar responsible for deaths of innocent people in Jat stir, dera violence, says Abhay

-

ROHTAK : Launching a scathing attack on Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala on Wednesday called him the modern-day avatar of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

Interacting with mediapersons in Sonepat, Abhay said Khattar was responsible for deaths of “innocent” people during the 2016 Jat quota agitation and 2017 dera violence.

“The Jat community will teach him a lesson for killing their innocent youths and sending many to jail. Khattar was responsible for the death of Dera followers in Panchkula too. Khattar is more arrogant than Aurangzeb. He will also pay for upsetting the Brahmin community by picking up an axe against Harsh Mohan Bardwaj (a BJP leader). The people of Haryana have seen the real face of Khattar and the BJP,” he added. He said the BJP will be reduced to less than 15 seats in the upcoming assembly elections due next month. “The INLD is ready to contest the upcoming elections and form the next government in Haryana. Our September-25 rally in Kaithal, on the occasion of Devi Lal’s birth anniversary, will break all records in terms of gathering,” Abhay said.

EXTENDS SUPPORT TO PROTESTING TEACHERS

KARNAL : INLD leader Abhay Chautala on Thursday slammed the state BJP government for using “force” on protesting teachers in Karnal.

On Tuesday, police resorted to water cannons to prevent guest teachers protesting near minisecretariat, from blocking the highway (NH 44). The teachers demanded state government to regularise their jobs, implement equal pay for equal work besides other facilities. “Teachers are being forced to sit on dharnas due to wrong policies of BJP government,” Abhay alleged as he extended support to protesting teachers and assured to fulfil their demands if voted to power.
