BUS CATCHES FIRE IN BARNALA

BARNALA: An alert driver took a bus from the bus stand when its diesel tank caught fire on Saturday. Bus driver Manjit Singh said: “We noticed flames emanating from diesel tank when no passenger was on board.” The driver jumped behind the wheel and drove the bus to a vacant place to avoid any untoward incident. A fire tender was rushed to the sport to douse flames.
