35 IPS, seven HPS officers transferred in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: In a major reshuffle in the police department, the Haryana government on Saturday shifted 35 IPS officers and seven HPS officers with immediate effect.

While Ajay Singhal, ADGP railways and commando, with additional charge of ADGP crime against women (CAW) was posted as ADGP, vigilance bureau, Panchkula; Sandeep Khirwar, IGP, Rohtak range, was given the additional charge of IGP, Sunaria Complex, Sunaria. Hanif Qureshi was posted as IGP, IRB Bhondsi with additional charge of DG-cum-secretary, new and renewable energy department and Y Puran Kumar, IGP, CTI, home guards was posted as IGP, prisons, Panchkula.

On promotion, Ashwin was posted as DIG, railways and commando; Sukhbir Singh, SP, SVB, has been posted as DIG, SCRB, Madhuban. SP Sirsa, Arun Singh, on promotion, has been posted as SP, Sirsa, in the rank of DIG.

Likewise, Jhajjar SP Ashok Kumar, on promotion, has been posted as Jhajjar SP in the rank of

DIG. Om Parkash, SP, RTC Bhondsi has been posted as DIG, PTC Sunaria.

Pankaj Nain was posted as SP, security, CID, with the additional charge of SP, SCB, cyber crime, Panchkula; Kuldeep Singh as SP, PTC Sunaria with additional charge of commandant, 3rd Battalion IRB, Sunaria; Shiv Charan as SP, SCB; Balwan Singh as SP, Dadri; Vinod Kumar as SP, HPUs; Sulochana Kumari as SP, Mahendergarh; and Rajesh Duggal as DCP, traffic, Faridabad.

While Sangeeta Rani was posted as SP, Bhiwani; Manisha Choudhary was posted as SP, Panipat. Virender Kumar has been posted as SP, STF, Gurugram; Deepak Gahlawat as SP, Palwal; Jashandeep Singh Randhawa as SP, Sonepat with the additional charge of SP, STF Sonepat.Kirat Pal Singh was posted as SP, commando, Karnal; Smiti Chaudhary as commandant 1st Battalion, HAP, A, City, with the additional charge of SP, Railways (H), Ambala Cantt; Himanshu Garg as SP, Yamunanagar; Waseem Akram as SP, telecommunication with the additional charge of SP, IT, PHQ; Ganga Ram Poonia as SP, Hisar; Rajesh

Kumar as SP, Fatehabad and Lokender Singh as SP, Hansi.

Also, Nitika Gahlaut was posted as DCP, HQ, Gurugram; Shashank Kumar Sawan as SP, Kaithal; Mohit Handa as DCP, Panchkula.

Chander Mohan was given the additional charge of DCP, Traffic, Gurugram and the additional charge of CEO mobility, GMDA; Narendra Bijarniya was posted as SP, Nuh; Maqsood Ahmed as DCP, Ballabgarh, Faridabad and Dheeraj Kumar was posted as DCP, South, Gurugram.

Among the HPS officers transferred were Deepak Saharan, who was posted as DCP, Manesar, Gurugram, with the additional charge of commandant 4th IRB, Manesar; Kamal Deep Goyal, DCP, Panchkula, was posted as SP, CAW, PHQ; Vijay Partap Singh as SP, STF, Ambala; Sumit Kumar, SP, Panipat as commandant 3rd Battalion HAP, Hisar with the additional charge of commandant Haryana women police battalion.

Likewise, Rajesh Kumar was posted as SP, law and order, PHQ; Mukesh Malhotra as DCP, Central, Faridabad and Virender Singh as SP, SCB.
