SHARED JOY IS DOUBLE JOY
Filmmaker Raj Kaushal and wife Mandira Bedi celebrated their son Vir’s ninth birthday with the residents of St Anthony’s Home For The Aged in Bandra, Mumbai, a tradition they have been following for years. A video shows senior citizens singing happy birthday for the child. The couple could not visit the old age home due to the lockdown, and yet they shared such joy virtually this year.
HOPE IS THE THING WITH FEATHERS
Pigeons bring the message of peace, love and hope. One of the most majestic looking birds, they often go unnoticed, maybe because they are omnipresent. “There’s beauty in even the most overlooked of things; in order to see it, you just need to stop and look,” says photographer and traveller Shane Kalyn who took this shot in Vancouver, Canada.
ROBBERS HAVE A HEART, TOO
These robbers first snatched valuables from a food delivery man, and when he broke down, their hearts melted and they returned his stuff. They hugged the guy, shook hands with him, and left. The guy, Mohammad Noman from Pakistan, says God kindled compassion in their hearts.
