Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Monday said he was in favour of reopening the gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib Corridor with strict social distancing norms. “Pakistan announced its intent two days ago and the central government will need time to decide on this. If they seek our opinion, I will suggest to them that the corridor should be reopened” he said, adding, “I think their (Centre’s) worry is that Pakistan is witnessing lots of Covid cases.”
