6 HELD FOR VIOLATING RESTRICTIONS

CHANDIGARH: Four persons were held for roaming without passes in violation of night curfew while two were arrested for not wearing masks in public in the city on Wednesday. Gaurav Sharma of Sector 47 was arrested near Ram Mandir; Himanshu Upadhyay of Hallomajra was arrested near CITCO turn, Hallomajra; Balmik Nishad of Faidan was found roaming near Laddi Gurdwara, on Bair Majra Road; and Rahul of Hallomajra was arrested near Ram Darbar bus stand on June 30. Naveen Rohilla of Sector 20C and Firoj Khan of Sector 29 were arrested for not wearing masks. Cases under Section 188 of the IPC were registered against all six. All were later bailed out.
